Bio - Naoko Yamaguchi - Watson Centre Society for Brain Health

Board of Directors

Naoko Yamaguchi

Naoko has a background in human resources and financial management. She oversees all aspects of the organization’s finances, including development and management of budgets and reporting to boards. Naoko is excited to be part of the Watson Centre Society for Brain Health team because it helps clients strengthen their brains after traumatic and acquired brain injuries. She also firmly believes in the four pillar-approach, which involves cognitive remediation, mindfulness, exercise and counselling. Originally from Osaka, Japan, Naoko enjoys cooking, travelling overseas, and spending time outdoors.

The Watson Centre is a caring and nurturing environment. Being 26+ years post injury and having plateaued in my rehabilitation for almost 2 decades, participation in this study has restored a sense of hope.
