Dave has lived in the Greater Vancouver area for over 25 years. He is a former professional athlete playing 19 years in the NHL, seven of those with the Vancouver Canucks. Currently, he acts as an Ambassador with the Vancouver Canucks and as a partner in Environmental Mats in the Oil and gas sector as well as in other business ventures.

He currently sits on the boards of Community Living BC, Vancouver Canucks Alumni, and Watson Centre Society for Brain Health. Dave and his wife Diana are also involved in many charitable organizations in the lower mainland as well as throughout BC. Dave sees the importance of being involved in brain health for all and especially for all his past teammates and colleagues who may have been affected in some way in respect to brain health.


The combination of Cognitive, Physical, Counselling, and Meditation was great. I’ve never been one to even consider meditation or be open to counselling. These two aspects in particular have impacted me in a very positive way and has helped with recovery.
